Our helpline offers round the clock access to a team of RCVS registered veterinary nurses every day of the year. The service includes webchat and telephone, either of which can escalate to a video call depending on the nature of the emergency.

Should you need to contact our trained nurses you’ll gain the reassurance of speaking to an expert, well versed in handling pet emergencies. Although each nurse must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience at a practice, the average length time they’ve spent providing support is over 10 years. They can help determine whether a trip to your vet is necessary which is especially useful in the evening or at weekends when your usual vet may be closed.

They can be there for you during the night, helping monitor any changes in your dog’s behaviour, which could let you to see your regular vet the next day. Or perhaps when you’re away from home, during a walk, or when you just need support from an empathetic veterinary nurse following bereavement.
