K9's flexible approach to vet fee limits and policy excesses allows you to select the cover that's right for you. We have defaulted these limits to £2,000 and £100 respectively and invite you to find the solution which suits your budget and your requirements. If you need to complete our medical screening section you'll be able to adjust these cover levels after.

The way the screening process works is that you declare each condition, injury or operation which has taken place in the last 2 years, or since birth in the case of a fractured bone or life limiting illness or injury. If in doubt it is better to declare.
As owner of this dog, and to the best of my knowledge, I hereby confirm:
You can select a policy start date up to 45 days in advance and cancel any time within 14 days of inception. Cover for illness starts on the first day of your policy, provided you have declared any pre-existing conditions and these have been accepted by us and included by you. You will not be covered for accidents within the first 5 days of your policy.
I confirm that the responses I have provided are accurate and I understand that providing inaccurate responses may affect the premium I pay and any claims settlement. If incorrect responses have been provided the insurer may reduce or not make the claim payment and/or cancel the policy.
Your first monthly payment of £ will be taken by direct debit within 1 month of your cover start date.
Eleven further payments of £ will be collected each month on the same date.

At renewal you will be able to select an alternative payment plan or cancel the policy if it is no longer required. We shall contact you at least 21 days in advance with the renewal premium.

Our policies are annual contracts which run for twelve months at a time. Your contract will automatically renew each year unless you choose to cancel it.
We will contact you before the renewal date so that you can make an informed decision about your policy and contact us if you do not wish to renew.
Premiums include Insurance Premium Tax (IPT) at the prevailing rate, which is currently 12%. They also include an administration fee charged by K9 COVER to arrange and maintain your policy.
Premiums are currently payable at 0% APR. We reserve the right to review this on the anniversary of your policy and will inform you in the renewal documentation of any changes, together with any other variations in the level of cover.
If upon reading your policy document you are not satisfied with the cover provided you may cancel this policy within 14 days for a full refund, provided no claim has been made.
Your refund will be paid to the same account unless agreed by us in writing.
You have a duty to notify us of any change of address or contact details in order for us to provide continued service.
Unless otherwise agreed, your contract may be cancelled by us for the following reasons: -
